From the moment we met the Black Rock Team, we knew we were in good hands. We've never seen an estimate like the one Ashley put together before. It was detailed and broken down for each portion of the project, so we knew exactly where every cent was going. Ashley was in constant communication with us, and they kept our build on track. Building our home was the biggest thing we have ever done, and we were nervous since there's so many horror stories out there. Ashley is trying to chnge the way people look at builders, and she's definitely done an A+ job. Thank you Black Rock! We are so thrilled with our forever home.

We had the pleasure of working with Black Rock on a recent remodel of our tiny, main floor bathroom and were thrilled with the results. The workmanship overseen by the team was stellar and the communication with Ashley was clear, timely and professional. They took all my design ideas into consideration and when things didn't work out for various logistical reasons, they offered stylish and practical solutions. They were able to change our outdated and cramped bathroom into a room we love - and all on budget! I really can't say enough good things about the Black Rock team. My only worry now is that they get too busy to help me with my next project :)

Ashley is the main point of contact when you call the office. She has been working in the industry for 18 years now, first as an interior decorator and now as the Owner, Designer and Project Manager for Black Rock Developments.

Ashley believes in sourcing local, encouraging females in the trades, communication, and going the extra mile for her clients. She is a mentor for young kids in the trades, speaking at local high schools, career fairs, and colleges. Ashley is a member of the Peterborough and Kawarthas Chamber of Commerce, a PHBKA member, and BNI Revolution.

She has worked on shows like Renovation Resort on HGTV and Legacy Makers, featured on AppleTV, and is award winning in her field. Ashley has accolades such as, 4 Under 40 recognition, Best Construction Company of the Year 2024, 11 Gold and Platnium Readers Choice Awards, and more.

It is Ashley's goal to change the way people look at tradespeople and regain faith in honest, trustworthy, contractors.
